As we enter a new school year, we remain focused on our academic goals and committed to the success of every child. In alignment with our mission, we’ve made several key instructional shifts to ensure we’re setting our students up for excellence:

Pre-K Expansion
We’re excited to introduce Pre-K to our school community! We know that a strong foundation in early childhood is essential, and this addition allows us to begin supporting our scholars even earlier.

K–2 Embedded Intervention
Our K–2 classrooms will now include embedded intervention for both reading and math. With extended blocks for each content area, students will have more time to learn, practice, and grow with targeted support.

3–5 Departmentalization
Grades 3–5 will transition to a departmentalized model. Each student will have a homeroom, but will rotate daily to receive Reading, Math, and Science instruction in isolation from a certified teacher. This model allows our educators to dive deeper into content and meet student needs more effectively.

Science Curriculum Enhancement
We’ve adopted the McGraw Hill Science curriculum for grades 3–4 to build a strong foundation and ensure mastery by 5th grade—when students will be formally assessed in science. This strategic investment reflects our commitment to preparing students for academic success across all subjects.
